Which Type of Coworking Member Are You? (And Whether Caddo Is the Right Fit)

Reception With Models - Caddo Office Reimagined

Not everyone who needs a place to work needs the same thing. Over time, we have noticed eight pretty distinct types of coworking needs. Caddo is a great fit for some of them and a bad fit for others.

We would rather tell you that upfront than have you join, feel like it is not working, and leave frustrated.

1. You just want a virtual mailbox

We are not the right fit here. Honest answer.

Virtual mail is a commodity. You can get it for $10 to $50 a month from dozens of providers. Our coworking membership starts at $249 a month, and it is built around people who actually want to use the space. Charging you $249 for a mailbox you never visit is not a good deal for you.

INSTEAD: These services will handle this more affordably and efficiently than we will.

2. You want a real street address, not a PO Box

This one we do well.

There is a meaningful difference between a PO Box and a suite number at a real office address. It affects your Google Business profile pin, how clients perceive you, and the credibility of your business card. We have members who joined purely for the address and stay because the value is obvious.

At $399 a month for our standard coworking membership, you get the address plus unlimited 24/7 access to all our locations, conference room credits, and private office days. Compare that to leasing our most affordable private office at $599 to $749 a month just for the address and never using it. The math works.

3. You need to host a monthly meeting or training series

This is a sweet spot for us, and one we probably do not promote enough.

We have members who run EOS trainings, mastermind groups, and professional development sessions out of our conference rooms every month. It works well because they get consistent space, a professional environment, and a membership that pays for itself across regular bookings.

If you need a reliable, recurring venue for monthly sessions, let us talk. We can usually put together something that makes sense.

One honest caveat: if you need a one-time meeting room, we are probably not the right answer. Getting set up as a member for a single meeting creates more friction than it is worth for both of us. If that is your situation, a hotel meeting room or a day-use service will serve you better.

4. You want the cheapest coworking you can find

We are not that place, and we are not trying to be.

There are operators building unstaffed coworking spaces in retail locations at $99 a month. That model works for some people. But our locations are staffed, maintained to a high standard, and built for small business owners who want a professional environment, not just a desk and a wifi password.

If budget is the primary driver and the space itself does not matter much, we would rather you find something that works than join us and feel like you overpaid.

INSTEAD: Switchyards and similar low-cost operators serve this need. Worth checking what is near you.

5. You are done working from coffee shops

Our $249 basic coworking membership was built for you.

You get unlimited 24/7 access to our common areas, phone booths for private calls, and a professional environment that does not require you to buy a $6 latte to justify your seat. No frills, no long-term commitment. Just a better place to work than your kitchen table or the local Starbucks.

It is a low-risk way to try us out. Most people who start here end up upgrading once they realize how much the space changes their workday.

6. You want coworking near home, with occasional private space when you need it

This is our most common coworking member, and our $299 standard membership was built exactly for this.

You get unlimited access to common areas plus two days a month in a fully furnished private office, eight hours of conference room time, and access to phone booths for calls you do not want the whole room to hear. When you need heads-down focus or a private Zoom, you have options. When you just need a change of scenery from home, you have that too.

Work near home, not at home. That is the idea.

7. You want more private office time built in

If two days a month is not enough, our $399 premium coworking membership gets you five full days per month in a private furnished office, plus everything in the standard membership.

For people who need private space regularly but are not ready to commit to a dedicated office, this is the bridge. You get the flexibility of coworking with enough private time to handle the focused work.

We can also add a mailbox benefit to this membership at select locations, which makes the $399 even more useful if the address matters to you.

8. You want to try a private office for a day

If it is a test drive before a bigger commitment, just say so. Our managers can usually comp a day so you can try the space before you sign anything. We would rather you make a confident decision than a reluctant one.

If it is truly a one-off need with no intention of joining, a private office rental platform will be more straightforward than becoming a Caddo member for a day.

Still not sure where you fit?
