Over the last 25 years, Fiesta Flower Mound has grown into the can’t-miss event of the year in Denton County. Flower Mound Chamber members, residents, city and county officials and local business leaders enjoyed the silent and live auctions along with live entertainment, dinner, dancing and casino games. This year’s sold-out event had a Ski Fiesta theme where the Circle R Ranch was transformed into an Apres Ski Wonderland. Like always, a great evening and event for small business owners to connect and unwind.
As one of the newest members of the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce, we were thrilled to donate a fully furnished one-year Caddo Office Reimagined Office Membership to this year’s Fiesta Flower Mound event. It was only after the winner was determined that we learned this heart-warming story about the gentleman who placed the winning bid:
Flower Mound resident Peggi Williams drove around the neighborhood just a week before the Fiesta event and spied the newest Caddo Office Reimagined building on Spinks Road. Upon returning home, she mentioned to her husband, Cameron, how much she would love to have an office outside of the home to work on the book she dreamed of writing. The next week, Peggi and Cameron happened to attend the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce Fiesta event where a one-year Caddo Office Membership was part of the live auction fundraiser. While Peggi was in the other room checking on her silent auction bids, Cameron secretly engaged in a bidding war and won the fully furnished office for the year. After securing the win, Cameron surprised Peggi with the gift certificate and said, “Here is your office – now go write that book!”.
